Room 1 pupils have been busy finding out about how Vikings lived as part of our How To Train Your Dragon topic. Each child carried out research on Viking Shields then we grouped all our information together on a mind map.
Next they designed their own shield and decided on patterns using colours that would have been available in Viking times. After making their shield based on the earlier design, the children wrote an information text that included relevant parts of their research.
